Analogue Foot Wear Tester

ESD foot wear is also the first line of defence against electrostatic charges build up on the human body. It is designed to carry away this charge as soon as it is generated. At the same time foot wear must remain electrically safe for the user. Thus, it is important to test every foot wears regularly.

In order to protect the sensitive electronic components the maximum foot wear resistance should not be more than 100 Meg ohms. The footwear tester checks these parameters under actual operating conditions with operator & foot wear. It clearly indicates the resistance of the foot wear system including the wearer is less than 100 Meg ohms or NOT.

The instrumented is designed for measuring the conductive foot wear also, so the instrument measurement is ranged from 0 to 100 Meg ohms.

FOR CHECKING FOOT WEAR:
Simply stand on the foot plate and press gently on the metal sensor plate; the instrument comes on automatically when this is done. The operator can check whether the resistance of the foot wear falls with in the acceptable range (0 - to 100 Meg Ohms), This is indicated by Analogue dial.
